20 Questions to Ask Your Accountability Partner

  1. Have you spent time daily in God’s word and in prayer?

  2. How would you describe your relationship with God? What has God been teaching you?

  3. Is your pace of life sustainable?

  4. Are you taking care of your body through exercise, proper eating, and regular sleep?

  5. Have you done anything to compromise your relationship with the opposite sex?

  6. What temptations did you face in the past week and how did you respond?

  7. How have you shared your faith this week? Who can you target with the gospel this next week?

  8. What has made it difficult for you to give 100% best effort in all your roles this week?

  9. Have your words built up or tore down others this week? Are there any changes you need to make to glorify God with your speech?

  10. How did you spend your spare time this week? Did those activities glorify God?

  11. What have you held back from God that you need to surrender?

  12. Are there any areas of pride in your life?

  13. How has God been speaking to you?

  14. Have you been a slave to dress, friends, work or habits?

  15. On a scale of 1-10, how honest have you been this week? Do you exaggerate when you speak?

  16. Have you been jealous, impure, critical, irritable, touchy or distrustful? What is the root cause of these emotions?

  17. What have you done this week to communicate love to your family?

  18. How did you honor God with your finances this week? Did any of your financial dealings lack integrity?

  19. Are there any areas in your life that you feel defeated in?

  20. What has your attitude been like?

This list of questions can be used by anyone. Personally, I think that the best accountability questions are those that you and your accountability partner create together that specifically address the areas you require accountability in. Taking the time to do this will be of great advantage to both of you.
