Trauma Informed Coaching

Adam and Eve brought sin into the world (Genesis 3), and we have been suffering from the consequences of a sinful nature ever since.  Life will not be perfect and none of us will live a perfect life.   If there are no perfect people, then we all have experienced some form of trauma over the span of our lives. These events leave lasting impressions on our brains that impact our spiritual, physical, and emotional wellbeing. If left unaddressed, trauma can manifest as physical illness, damaged relationships, and even cause an individual to lose faith in God.

What is Biblically Based Trauma Informed Coaching?

Seasoned coaches skilled in trauma informed coaching techniques are uniquely positioned to provide help to those who suffer from the effects of trauma and now desire change. These coaches use powerful questions and techniques backed by neuroscience to form new neural pathways that allow their clients to move forward on their healing journey and restore their hope and trust in God.

Biblically based trauma informed coaches use biblical principles that align with science to help facilitate client growth. The focus of this course is on trauma, the impacts it has on a coaching relationship, exploration of tools and techniques to facilitate forward growth from a biblical perspective, and to develop an understanding of basic neuroscience and the implications for change.  While coaching is not therapy, great coaching can be extremely therapeutic and can provide forward momentum for individuals who have experienced trauma.

Why should I pursue a Biblically Based Trauma Informed Coaching Certification?

We live in a world where people experience various forms of trauma in their everyday lives. Whether it is in the home, the workplace, the mission field, or any other area of life, we have all been impacted by the effects of traumatic events. Exploring these experiences with our clients can help them gain a better understanding of what shaped and formed their current beliefs while uncovering old patterns of behavior that are holding them back from experiencing fullness in Christ.

Do you want to help your clients connect with God in a whole new way by helping them unlock the path to healing and fullness in Christ? Sign up for one of our classes today!
